Dressing Your Feet: When to Buy Cheap Shoes and When Not to Buy Cheap Shoes
Getting shoes that match your wonderful outfit is like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae. Shoes are a perfect accessory to any outfit.
Getting shoes that match your wonderful outfit is like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae. Shoes are a perfect accessory to any outfit. However, what if you’re only going to be wearing these shoes a few times? What if you need shoes to last a lifetime? Sometimes buying cheap shoes will benefit you while other times cheap shoes are just that, cheap and won’t last you nearly as long as you need. Rather than wasting money on shoes spend your money wisely by buying cheap shoes when the occasion calls.
Men’s Shoes
Men are rather easy to shop for when it comes to shoes because they just want something that’s functional. Generally men don’t switch out shoes very frequently so buying cheap shoes isn’t going to be as beneficial as investing in some great shoes that will last years. If you’re a guy that doesn’t like buying shoes then make sure you don’t purchase cheap shoes because they won’t be nearly as comfortable as other shoes plus they won’t last as long.
Women’s Shoes
Formal occasions generally don’t come up very frequently so not many women have formal shoes, however, when a wedding comes up you’re going to need some nice looking shoes to go with a nice outfit. Rather than spending a bunch of money on shoes you’ll only wear a few times use this time to buy some cheap shoes. There are a few things you’ll want to contemplate before buying cheap shoes, though. Most shoes that cost less aren’t nearly as comfortable as shoes that cost more. Is it worth having a little discomfort for a few hours for cheap shoes that you’ll only wear once maybe twice?
Casual shoes are a different story because you’re going to be wearing them frequently and you’re going to want them to last. Unless you’re going to be playing at the beach all the time then you’re not going to want to get cheap shoes, you’re going to want to invest in some casual shoes that are comfortable and will last a long time.
Buying sport’s shoes is another area to consider when it comes to shoes. Never buy cheap shoes when it comes to sports. Buy shoes that will give you full and proper support. Sport’s shoes are another investment so invest well.
Children’s Shoes
Many people will tell you that because your children will grow fast that you should just buy cheap shoes since you’ll be buying more in a month or so anyway. In all honesty that is a bad idea. Your children are growing. That means that they need as much foot support as they can get so their bones grow correctly. You don’t want to give your children flat feet just because it means you save a few extra dollars.
Shoes play an important part in everyday living—in fact they’re essential. Choose wisely when you come across the option of buying cheap shoes versus buying shoes that are an investment. While you’re out there shopping, take advantage of many of the great sales on shoes you just might find some great deals that will make some shoes cheaper than normal.
