Keep your Jersey Sweater in Tip-Top shape

 (A) Use lingerie bag. Cotton jersey can easily withstand machine washing just toss the items in a mesh lingerie bag before placing in the washing machine

(B) Combat fading if a jersey piece fades it is because the dyes in the yarn have released in the wash. To keep bright pieces from fading hand-wash them then lay flat to dry.

(C) Try delicate detergent. Care for wool jersey by machine washing in cold water with gentle detergent such as The Laundress Wool and Cashmere Shampoo which will preserve the natural oils in the yarn.
