The Best Thrift Store for Baby Items

Find out how you can save on baby items. Buy used clothing for baby and save.

All parents know, specially at such times as these that babies are VERY expensive. Babies quickly outgrow clothes, those cute little $40 baby Jordans will no longer fit, and those little outfits will be thrown out. Babies grow rapidly and with them so does their wardrobe. If you want to save money, you might want to look into buying used clothes for your little one.

At first I thought that I would never buy used clohting for my baby. Truth of it is, I still buy clothes at the Baby Gap, and all those other places. I’m not sure about you, if you have gone to these places just to look around, you end up at the counter paying over $200 on baby items. I try not to do this so often, but end up giving in. Those cute little denim pants are just so hard to resist.

The good news for me, and for any mom living nearby is that you can actually save money. My mother-in-law actually found this little store called “Resale Rack” They have baby clothes ranging any size from 0-5 years old. They also have baby items such as play pens, walkers, car seats, etc. Women clothing and shoes are available as well. The baby clothes are super cheap and gently used.

The trick of buying used is this: Inspect before you buy. Make sure there are no buttons missing, or stains on the fabric. Threads and such must not be lose. Also, don’t just buy anything, make sure you buy only what you need. Buy quality items, sometimes you find great brands, make sure you get those!
