Best Telephone Options to Suit Your Telephone Needs

Best Telephone Options to Suit Your Telephone Needs

This goes over the types of talkers and telephone plans that suit them best.

In today’s highly technical environment, it can be very confusing for the consumer to decide on one single option to meet all of their telephone needs. There is a multitude of telephone options to choose from. No one option is ideal for everyone. Generally there are three types of people: The talkaholics, the “I’m here, I’m fine, bye,” and the emergency only. There is a good option for every one of these people. In fact, because this is the wireless age, why do we use landlines anymore? Mobile phones are adequate for all uses nowadays.

First of all is the talkaholic group. These people are typified as the ones that are always on the phone. For these, a mobile phone is usually a good choice. Today, there are even plans that give callers unlimited anytime minutes, web use, text messages, and e-mail for a low monthly cost, usually $100 per month With unlimited minutes, and if there is good mobile phone service at home, a land line is usually not even necessary. Some people pay close to $80 or $90 per month for land line alone, plus they add another $40 per month for a cell phone. Why not use a cell phone for everything. For simple internet use, many phones are equipped with internet capabilities, music, and videos. But for those who need fast access internet and TV, these can be acquired by another source together, using bundling.

The opposite of this group is the “I’m here, I’m fine, bye” category. These are the people who never just chat. They call with a purpose, get it over with, and hang up. For these people, a simple “pay as you go” or prepaid mobile phone is ideal. These start with low rates and have fairly cheap phones. Callers can also choose an entry-level plan with minimum monthly minutes instead. For these people, a landline is usually a waste of money if they are rarely going to use it.

The third group of people is the ones who only use a phone for emergencies. For these, there are actually service providers that offer phones for a few dollars a month that will only call emergency numbers such as 911. There are very few people who actually only need this service, but for them, it is a good deal.

Many people today fall into the “Talkaholic” group, even if they consider themselves one of the others. Most people that fall into the latter two groups only follow this when they are using a mobile phone, but with the declining cost of mobile service, why not just use one of these and not even bother with a land line any more.
