Bluray: HD or BS
Is Bluray really living up to what it is said to be?
I am sitting in front of the television, watching Vakyrie on Bluray on my PS3, and whilst i’m watching i wonder why should we pay more for a). the Bluray DVD and b). the Bluray Player when i cannot tell the difference between a normal DVD and a Bluray DVD. Now, what i am really confused about is why should someone buy a Bluray Player. I totally approve of someone buying a PS3 because you can play games and chat with friends, view photos, use the internet and watch Bluray DVDs as well as normal DVDs, but if you’re going to buy a Bluray Player which costs around £350, the same price as a PS3 is absurd. It is a waste of the consumers money to buy a machine that has 1 function, when you can buy a machine that does that same function as well as many others. I have nothing against the actual Bluray disk as i have nothing to have against it, but i just want to warn you that buying a Bluray Player is a total waste of money, and you should get a PS3 instead, as it is much more amusing and you have a multi-media player rather than a uni-media player.
