Extra Uses of Ipod
You think you can only use your iPod for listening to music and playing games. Well, take a look at a few other uses for your iPod.
Lyrics
Many people would like to read or just have the lyrics of the songs they listen to on their iPod with their songs. This is easily possible. To get the lyrics on your iPod, you just have to put them in your iPods Notes folder. First, enable disk use for your iPod and open the folder on My Computer. Now open the Notes folder and save the lyrics text file over here. A benefit of this is that you can save many text files and they take very little space on the iPod. The lyrics can easily be found by searching for the song lyrics.
Dictionary
This is not a free utility but it is available. You can get a Merriam Websters iPod Dictionary containing over 40,000 words from their website for a low price of $9.95. I dont think an iPod or virtual dictionary is available anywhere else for free.
Road Maps
Another thing you can do on your iPod is add images of road and city maps which can be very helpful if you are travelling in a new or unfamiliar city. You can easily get images of these maps from Yahoo! or Google Maps and store these on your iPod. Also, if you are going to a specific destination you can get directions in text format on your iPod
Studying
You can also use your iPod for studying for a test. You can store all the content you have to study in text format on your iPod and in this way, your study material is easily portable. Also, this easily enables you to listen to music while studying.

Another useful thing is to use an iPod as a timetable. I am in high school and it works really well. It tells me what time, period number, teacher, room and if I have any homework for it. It is really useful.
