Four Hi-Tech Life Saving Tips

Four Hi-Tech Life Saving Tips

Your mobile goes swimming without your permission? Your hard drive is in a sudden coma? Worry no more!

Mobile phones are beginning to be a must-have in the modern world. Travelling is a must-do in the modern world. So what if you forgot to bring the charger for your must-have while you are going on your must-do? Before going to sleep or somewhere that you don’t need your mobile on guard around, take out its battery and put it in the freezer. It would last longer than you think it would.

It’s very likely that you are doing your must-do in a aquatic surrounding. Mobile phones aren’t obedient chaps, so sometimes they go swimming without your permission and without knowing that it can. Don’t blame yourself too soon or crying over the valuable info and numbers and contacts. What you should do is waving of water and dipping your mobile in dry rice (roasted rice is even better). It’s sort of like a soaked mobile’s CPR. If your mobile can’t recover after that well…start blaming yourself. Remember you must do this in 10 minutes after the swim.

When your hard drive with all the important documents, valuable pictures and applications goes in coma, don’t black out. Carefully remove the hard drive out of the CPU and put in a airtight nylon bag (no holes) along with a small bag of demoisturizer (you find these ‘Do not eat’ little bags in candy or biscuit boxes all the time). Seal it however you like (leave as little air in the bag as possible), then put it in the freezer. After about 8 hours, take it out of the freezer and leave it in room temperature untill it doesn’t feel cold anymore, then assemble it. Be sure to have another memory device close by as after being re-assembled, the hard drive can only live for about 1 or 2 more hours.

Your printer suddenly goes out of juice and you still need to print some important documents? Remove the cartridge and heat it with a hairdryer for 2 or 3 minutes. Put the cartridge back in and it should be able to print a few more pages good as new.
