Now on to the main review
The camera is good, but not great.Still, it lacks any supoprt for flash. It is a farely slow camera, but faster than nokia’s n95 camera, which,as you should know, is very slow!!!
The speaker is actually quite loud, which is unusual for a htc mobile. It also use alot of formats, which include wma,mp3,mp2, aac, aac+, aac+ enhanced, and a couple more.Htc sense also seems to work well, but we prefer touchflo 3d.
It is pretty fast, and quick, and this is no surprise, due to aboout 500mhz processor power, and 288mb ram and 512 mb rom.
The internet browser if fantastic!! it still is not as good as iPhone’s, but it is great, with the integration of wifi, 3.5g, and ability to use it as a modem. We assure you that your internet pages will fly open!
Gps seems to work well, but the maps arent very good…
There are some good widgets, with some people claiming you can make your own, but we didnt try it, due to this review…
The android market is very snappy and fast, but still cannot compete with the iphone’s app store.
Conclusion:
The htc hero is a fantastic phone, in places better than the iPhone, but it still cannot compete with the iPhone 3gs, due to the fact it doesnt have a store with as much potential as the app store, so i think android needs to get some more developers, and its open source.
Oh well, maybe the n97???
Liked it
