iPhone 3GS vs. N97

iPhone 3GS vs. N97

So you can’t make up your mind about what to buy, the latest iPhone or the N97?
Here is all the information you need to have before you buy any of these!

Its been the most awaited moment that the whole world is looking forward to, today, right now….
The release of the centuries best phones – from the most popular worldwide seller of the most available phones in the market, Nokia, and its latest “to-be-released” touch, slide and a QWERTY keyboard, N97;
and the revolutionary company which has changed the “touch revolution”, Apple with it’s latest version of the iPhone – the “iPhone 3G S”.

People drool outside mobile phone retailers shops after seeing these “glittery, stunning, outstanding phones with the biggest screens!”

So, even you’re one of the people who’re bored with their old phone or want to be updated with technology and style?

iPhone 3G S has already sold over a million in its first three days of release. So, what does that mean?
People bought it for its features or its cheap price, or its looks or craze?

The answer is simple – “latest gadget by my favorite company Apple! OOH… The NEW iPhone 3G S”
That’s IT.

The good features are RIGHT below….

It’s got the newest iPhone Operator Software Version (OS) 3.0 which enables you to buy more applications from the App Store of Apple and the all new “Mobile-Me” which manages all the work for you such as arranges your e-mails, calendars and all your contacts on the iPhone. The “Voice Control” allows you to control your iPhone using your voice. Cool, huh? Supporting 32 GB of storage and twice your browsing speed on the web browser – Safari. All earlier models only featured photo capturing but the latest one also has video recording as well as an on board editing all with a 3 mega pixel camera with built in auto focus. The compass installed also is quite accurate with newer maps and higher quality of pictures!
Yeah, finally they have the “Cut-Copy-Paste” of text from any app to any other! This time texting messages becomes easier as you have the landscape keyboard when you tilt your iPhone.

Unlike previous versions, this one can forward messages and has the “Spotlight Search” which enables you to find anything on your portable 32 GB installed space. 3G helps surf mails and the web faster using a WI-Fi connection of “b, g, and n”. Voice memos allow you to record your very own “To-Do” list and hear it too later as a reminder.

For health freaks: GOOD NEWS!!! This one supports Nike + iPod to sync your shoe to your phone to account your steps while your play-list entertains you during your walk!

Check stocks whenever, wherever you want now! You -Tube is also an application available for a better viewing of videos.

No way! How could you lose your phone? How could you when you have the “Find My iPhone
and Remote Wipe” App in your iPhone?
Just type the serial number and find where the phone is without using an inter-net connection with the help of a map!

So, all this under a price range of USD$199!

But the older, cheaper, re-furbished version is still available and now for USD$99 ONLY!

It’s 12.3 MM deep and fully loaded.

LOVE: Everything including the better camera.
HATE: 5 Hour Talk time battery lives and two colored back.

Both have the same screen dimensions but N97 might be the next Gizmo and biz phone in your hands!
Starting at USD$699.

“This is so awesome!” is what my brother was all like after getting a DUMMY in his hands!

I loved the slide and the roomy QWERTY keyboard and is worth every cent!
Being the only phone with 3.5 G instead of iPhone’s 3G nature.
This phone has WI-Fi also for Internet surfing.
This phone takes mobile communication to the next level supporting 3.5G and 48 GB of on board memory for all your Hi Definition movies and out of the world music and high definition photos on this brilliant screen. Global positioning system enabled, this phone has THE BEST maps and guidance support ever!!!

With a Carl Zeiss five mega pixel camera And LOADS OF space, your capturing of photos could never be SO fun!!!

E-Mail, calendars and a huge contact book makes this phone the perfect chum for all your meeting, lectures and business!

On the 16:9 Ratio, wide screen TV, video and movie viewing is great pleasure!

There are special side keys to enjoy your favorite games and all your downloads from the very own Nokia’s OVI store! My favorite was the “Guitar Rock Tour”, where you have to strum your cords and make music!!! This game is free and included with your device.

Now customize your home screen with all your cool download-able widgets. Your very own socializing web site Face Book is also available as a widget. (Widgets are very related to the Apple’s “Apps”).

Just like the iPhone 3G S, this bomb too has only two colors – silver and black.

The camera’s got Xenon flash for better pictures in the dark unlike the iPhone.

The N97 is only 0.63 inches skinny and 2.18 inches wide.

Its talk time ranges from 6 to 17.9 days!! (With a Li-ion battery).

Its got a compass and an accelerometer for correct orientation of display.

This model includes a radio too!

So full on entertainments on the go!

“Where is the party tonight dude?”
=> Wherever there’s a N97 because it can store from 32 GB – 48 GB of data port-ably and loads more download able content from our very own OVI store.

Told you it’s worth every cent!

The release date is most probably the 1st of July but it might get further delayed.

The date is only for the Americas. The date varies in other countries.

LOVE: 48 GB of storage and a 5 Mega Pixel camera with dual flash.
HATE: Too expensive! Too fat!

iPhone really rocks as none of others provide responsive touch screen with multi-touch support. It seems that there is craze for Nokia also as Samsung’s older Omnia HD is much faster than N97 and got a vibrant display and it’s a Symbian too!
