Microsoft Zune is by far the only competitor for Apples Ipod. None the less it isn’t doing good in the market. Though the Zune has brought new ideas onto the market it is still struggling to pick up its sales. Could it be because of the economy or is the lack of popularity. The economy cant be it because if u look at Apples Ipod sales then you will see a major jump in them. So the economy is ruled out. That leaves popularity. The Zune don’t have enough fans to really compete. So what is Microsoft doing about that. Talk on the web says that thier will be a Microsoft Zune HDcoming out this Fall in 2009. Microsoft has yet denied or supported this rummer suggesting that it is planning on to challenge the Ipods Touch with its own. Whether it will feature technology that is will shape the MP3 industry or if it will even come out this fall, it is clear that Microsoft is planning on supporting the Zune through hards times as they once stated at an conference. Now will the Zune pick up sales. I dont know, but i hope so, not to play favorites but i like the Zune it has potential to do great it just need a good boost of help.
