Mini iPhone

The pros and cons of the Mini iPhone.

Mini Iphone

The Mini iPhone is about two thirds the size of the Apple iPhone and comes with a cheaper price tag. I recently purchased one in Thailand for about A$150. Below is my review of the phone.

Pros:

  • Stylish and cute
  • 2.6 inch touchscreen and VGA camera
  • Dual sim – you can place two sim cards in the phone at once
  • Supports bluetooth
  • has an inbuilt TV and antenna attached
  • You can place a microSD card in the phone to store music/photos etc..
  • Set your own ring tones with the music you save on your microSD card

Cons:

  • Does not support 3g only GPRS so internet surfing is not as good as the original iPhone
  • The Mini iPhone does not support multi touch
  • The keyboard is a bit small so you may need to use a stylus when typing out an sms
  • The battery life is a bit short, mine lasts for about 2 days before i need to recharge it
  • The mini iphone may have similar features of the Apple Iphone however it is a copy version.

Overall I rate the Mini iPhone 6.5 out of 10. The dual sim cards are a plus but the downside is the battery does not last very long. I am forever recharging my Mini iPhone on my computer via a usb cable.

The in-built TV is an awesome feature however I am not always able to get reception so the picture comes out fuzzy.

For a cheap touch screen phone this is a good solution but dont expect it to be the same as the original iphone.
