Ok so there are definitely many pros to the iPhone, however what makes it so good and worth like 900 dollars without contract, well first of its an ipod touch, there’s your 300-400 dollars there, and then its a smart phone, that should cover the rest of the money. So that’s just a basic look at the iPhone, but it goes much deeper than that. The Apple iPhone has something that other phones don’t have as much. So here is my pros and cons list.

Pros:

Jailbreaking (If you use it for the right reasons, its legal, and a very handy tool, you can look at it as homebrew, Please note it does void your warranty, I’ll explain jailbreaking in another article)

Apps ( DUH!)

Ipod ( self-explanatory)

Fully touch-screen (Might be a con for some people, but not for me)

Anyone can develop apps (Just get a mac and download xCode with a free ADC membership

Overall good phone with very nice features

Cons:

Battery is weak

xCode doesn’t work with os 3.0.1

Very easy to break (one fall on hard floor and you screen is gone, 100 dollar repair)

3G service is too expensive

Says it has auto focusing, but I don’t see it as much
