Protesters Against AT&T’s iPhone Decision: Five Reason to Leave the iPhone

AT&T gets Apple to remove Googles Voice Application from iPhones while it is still alive in BlackBerry Applications and the Android Market.

AT&T has put the pressure on Apple to remove the new voice application from Google. It just goes to show who is really scared of compitition. Now iPhone users won’t get to enjoy a great application from Google, all because of anti-competitive AT&T.

While this is all going on you can imagine how fired up AT&T users are. Especially sense there is no good reason to do this, it is obviously avalible on other phone platforms and services, and it is avalible for the iPhone, so why hide it? I’m not a iPhone users, but I could imagine how mad you could get over something this stupid. So now I bring you five good reasons to ditch you iPhone and get something else.

AT&T and Apple are anti-competitive. You can’t just blame it on one, they are working together. Any company who is that scared of competition shouldn’t be in the Market, there products aren’t going to move anywhere, and you are going to be stuck with the same stuff until they start to change. Besides the fact that right now that both Apple and AT&T are under FCC Investigation for Black-Box App approval process.

The iPhone is a target. Why don’t you talk to Microsoft about it. When you make a product that is so popular and has so much hype, you can imagine how the hacker world is going to look at this. It is basically fresh meat, and still is. The iPhone has already been the subject to many frightining vurneralbility exploits, just look at there Text Message Vulnerability, it has been fixed by Apple, but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be a new threat next week.

Give money to the selfish. There are lots of other options out there really, and they will probably end up stealing your money than anything. Other GV Related voice apps that customers have bought are now being removed as well, the customers want there money back, and now Apple is telling them that they need to go to the developer to get a refund. So how does that work? You guys pay for a applications through a store not related to the developer, and all of a sudden it is removed. Without notice, a program that you paid for has been disabled for use on your phone, get a clue guys, they are stuck up and don’t think about their customers at all.

Android is better, a lot better. They plan on making 18-20 more of these kind of phones. They are sexier than iPhones, they run better, and the better life is also better. Despite what Apple claims about any of there electronics and battery life, it is mostly a lie. You can also get these phones customized just they way you want from the Open Handset Alliance.

There you have it, five good reasons you should leave AT&T and drop the iPhone. There are a lot of other options out there, just take a look a T-Mobiles plans, way cheaper than AT&T.
