The Ruggedness of Nokia Handsets
With three handsets of Nokia make already used by me, I’m in a better position to pass this verdict.
With the introduction of global system of mobile communication to the big Nigerian telecommunication market in year 2000 came the influx of different makes of handsets into the gullible Nigerian handset and accessories market where substandard products thrive and compete with good quality products.
The Nigerian people are still grateful to God for making them part of this global telephony village. But within time, the service providers embarked on sharp practices to further impoverish the already poor Nigerians who were carried away by the joy of the affordability of GSM services. Prior to the advent of GSM in Nigeria, there were less than a million telephone users in a country of over one hundred and twenty million citizenry. The complaints of poor services and exploitation still rankle in the minds of the Nigerian telephone users.
Within time, users of different makes of handsets started feeling the bite due to their poor choice of handset and the knack for embracing poorly made cheap handsets in the market. It is only the makers of Nokia brands that have been consistent in exporting into the Nigerian market handsets and accessories that are durable, rugged and with one-year warranty in approved places with good business mind and agreement.
Between the year 2000 and now, I have used three different Nokia handsets namely: Nokia 3310, Nokia 2100 and Nokia 6020.
In a space of seven years I’m on my third Nokia handset. What better way to prove Nokia handsets’ durability and ruggedness? I recommend one of their products to you today. This is my testimony.
