THE ZUNE HD: Released!

Well I hopped onto my email today (Agust 13, 2009 @1:15pm) and had an email that you can now pre-order your Zune HD 16Gb or 32Gb…  The Zune HD is available to be pre-ordered from the following sites:

So the long wait is over, finally! Well, almost, as they’ll be shipped out the 15th of September, their official release date. Prices for the devices are as follows:

• $219.99USD for the 16Gb Black Model 
• $289.99USD for the 32Gb Platinum Model

I think one of the best things about these new Zunes is going to be, obviously the touchscreen. I’m sure that many of the current Zune owners have been craving a device like this for sometime now, and now we’ve gotten our wish! Microsoft has definately stepped up to the plate, and maybe hit a homerun again Apple. But who knows?

It porbably would be nice though, if the prices for the accesories for the new Zune HD were a bit lower. Currently, Microsoft Store has the new docking sation adn wireless remote for the Zune HD going for $49.99USD, a bit steep if you ask me. Though, eventually and inevitably, those prices will come down. But it might of been better were they to start at a lower price.

Maybe the next generation of Zune HD’s will have a camera, a larger hard drive, maybe bluetooth, or even a cell phone. But, as  Microsoft hasd said before, they’re not in the business of making cell phones. Though, they’ve made millions, if not billions from Windows Mobile, it only seems right that Microsoft release such a product.

All in the future =) We shall see what it holds. Until then, the ZUNE HD!!!!

Well, I’m off to clean my house, then go and pre-order this fabulous new device from Microsoft Zune. Hope you all enjoy this beauty when you have it in the palm of your hands!!!
