Three Most Ridiculously Priced Gadgets in India

Three Most Ridiculously Priced Gadgets in India

After quite a lot of market research, I found out that some gadgets, under the pressure of competition are ridiculously underpriced, especially in India. Here are three of them.

1.Apple iPod Touch 2G

iPod Touch is the clone of one of the most revolutionary device of Apple, the iPhone. It will be shameful and unhonourable to call the iTouch an MP3 player or a PMP, to be precise, it’s a PDA (Personal Data Assistant) in which you can browse the web (one of the best portable browser ever!), check email, play games, and

probably do any type of work, whether extremely complex or simple as eating a pie. The 2nd generation 8 GB iTouch comes at an extremely affordable price tag of Rs 12,400, while the iPod Nano 5G costs just 2-3 thousand less, and that’s why and sane consumer would go for the touch. The most unbelievable fact is that the touch screen that iPod Touch uses, a capacitive touch screen costs 80% of the price itself, and not to mention the classy design and slim dimensions. Go get it before the second generation goes extinct.

2.Sony PSP

Sony PlayStation Portable, the lucid leader of the portable gaming industry and a cool looking device with a 4.3″ LCD display, amazing graphics, processing power and features such as music, videos, picture, Internet and lots of other features. The inbox contents are quite deserted though, as you don’t even get a set of headphones in the box. But at a p

rice of 8,000 to 12,000 Rs, depending on the model you opt for, you can be sure that you are striking gold. And being a product from Sony, whose most products are usually overpriced, this one is definitely worth buying. Get it and shame the Nintendo DS users.

3. Nokia 5800 Xpress Music

Being the first commercial effort In the touch industry by Nokia, this phone means a lot to them. Though the interface of the Nokia 5800 XM sucks, but the phone definitely is an eye candy and the feature set you get is the best you can get at this budget. The unbelievable price is just Rs 14,000 and that’s why Samsung Star and LG Cookie users are slapping themselves, hard. And that’s not it, you get free Sennheiser headsets (cool one) worth Rs 2200 and 100 free music downloads from the Nokia Music Store, along with a 3 month navigation license of Nokia Maps. After a Lot of research, I conclude that this is the only touch phone which gives you a bang for your buck.
