We all have laptops that are sat in a cupboard somewhere having not been used for a couple of years. Well given the current financial climate a lot of us are digging out those laptops to see if we cannot give them a new lease of life so that we don’t have to buy entirely new laptops.

Well I’ve also been faced with this situation. A friend and colleague of mine came to me the other day and asked me if her laptop was worth upgrading. I took one look at it, realised it was close to 5 years old, and found myself saying that yes we could upgrade it. 5 years ago it was a top of the range laptop, and as a result of that, it meant that it did have a lot of components that could be swapped for better ones to give her a much better user experience!
