Apple’s Ipod has been around for quite some time now and has gotten to be on the top of many people’s shopping lists. But what makes this little device so famous? It is the wide and customizable features. The Ipod comes in many different colors and shapes. A business man might want an Ipod touch to browse the web or check his email while a person who visits the gym once or twice a week might want an Ipod shuffle for its small design so it will easily fin in the owners pocket. But why the Ipod might not be around soon?

You might think that downloading songs for $.99 each is cheap but wait until you hear this. Some company’s are talking about making a “wireless song channel”. Using this channel on your player you will be able to listen to any song using this wireless channel all for paying a small fee per month. So why would you pay $.99 per song or $1.99 per video when you can do it all for a mere $15 or $20 a month. Microsoft’s Zune has a small version of this for $14.99. Although the Zune’s is not wireless is a start of a new way to listen to music. So next time you are thinking about buying an Ipod consider waiting a little while.
