For the xbox 360 you can play online, but they are quite a few holdbacks.  If you have an xbox 360 and you love to play it, and you want to play other people around the world.  You have to either get a wired or wireless adapter to connect to the internet.  The microsoft brand of both of these types of adapters are very costly, but they are the best for compatibility for playing online.

Wired adapters- these adapters range for $70-$95 for the microsoft brand.  But you can buy a regular type of adapter for a fraction of that. A cat 5 cord costs at least $10 and this is compatible with the xbox.

Wireless Adapters- these type of adapters cost $80-$110 for the microsoft brand. But the problem with this is that you have to use the microsoft brand since microsoft designed it this way.   I have heard of people who have gotten it to work without a microsoft brand, but I haven’t seen it
