Friends!  We all know that it is Christmas time, but we also know that it is a recession time also.  As United States is the worst affected country with recession & other countries are also affected, it is better if we learn to cut our costs by purchasing relatively cheaper Christmas gifts.

By cheaper gifts I do not mean that the gift should be low in quality or should be small, but the gift should be cheaper in price.  Like suppose, last year you bought your child an expensive i-pod or an expensive mobile, then this time you can buy him a box of chocolates, a game CD or cheaper things like that.   Of course, the child may not like cheaper things, but if you properly explain him, then he can really learn lessons of spending the money intelligently & properly at a small age itself.

I would suggest that it would be nice to give some cheap gifts this Christmas like box of chocolates, flowers, greeting cards, cheaper perfumes, showpieces, Jesus Christ statues & such cheaper items, so that we can cut our costs a lot.  And yes, a lot of cost cutting can be done by not throwing expensive parties this Christmas, but throwing a small party & enjoying with few friends & family.  And also by not having a lot of food for party, but less & good food.

So, do saving this Christmas, so that you can have money to enjoy much more Christmases.  Merry Christmas!!!
