Are you having trouble finding the perfect gift for the guy in your life?  Maybe it is your husband, boyfriend, brother, son, father; who ever it is, I have a great list for you.  Everyone knows that men are the hardest to buy gifts for.  That is why I am here to help you.  These gifts are great for guys of almost any age.  They are also great for your brother and the man you have been married to for twenty years as well as the people who are in a new relationship. 

1. Cologne- You can not go wrong with cologne.  You can find out what brand of cologne the man wears or pick one out that you like yourself.  Around Christmas time, you can usually find great deals on gift sets for cologne or perfume.  There are also variety box sets where you get the smaller bottles of cologne, but there are different types of cologne in the set, so that you do not have to pick just one.  An even better idea is to go shopping with the guy and walk by the cologne counters.  Pick up a bottle of men’s cologne and smell it.  You can even ask him if he likes it.  You can be discreet.  You do not have to say, “Would you wear this?” Or “Do you want me to buy you this?”  You can watch him shop to see what he picks up and smells or sprays on himself. 
2. Grilling utensils-  Just about every man likes to grill. So why wouldn’t the men like grilling utensils?  They range from cheap to expensive, so take your pick on which to buy.  Or you can get the accessories, like a table to sit by the grill to put utensils or food on.  You can get them chairs to sit in while they are grilling.  There are many possibilities in this category.
3. Clothing-  Yeah, this can be a hard one or an easy one.  Do you know what size to get them, what brands they like, their style, or what they are into?  My brother is a fireman and loves to watch UFC on the television.  I usually do not bother with buying him pants, but I have found some great UFC and shirts that relate to firefighting.  Does the guy have a favorite sports team, band, or hobby?  Pay attention to the things they talk about and what they wear.
4. Grooming products- My dad goes through blades in his electric razor like crazy.  A good gift for him has always been new razors or replacement blades for the razors that he already has.  Hair clippers, blade sharpeners, or anything else that you think the man in your life could use would make a good gift that he probably wouldn’t think about asking for Christmas.
5. Wallets and accessories- If you look at a man’s wallet, it is probably falling apart and looking like it is in really bad shape.  Wallets are a great gift for someone that you do not know that well or know what they like, because they are usually pretty basic.  Most of them are brown or black leather.  Yeah, they have many other types, but it is sometimes better to stick to the basics unless you know they would rather have a Harley Davidson or New England Patriots wallet.  There are also different accessories, like a wallet chain or photo inserts that you could get them.
6. Tickets- Does you man like sports or music?  You could always get them tickets to a concert or to a sporting event.  There are always different events coming to different places other that sports or music.  There are monster trucks, tractor pulls, comedy shows, etc.  You can buy a ticket for the both of you, and it is fun for you too.  It is like you are buying a gift for him that you can also enjoy!
7. Tivo/DVR- It is no secret that Tivo and DVR are becoming increasingly popular among men and women of all ages. You can pause and rewind live television. You can record your favorite movies, shows, or games and watch them at a later time and fast forward through the commercials. You can record the movies that you want to watch while the man is watching their ballgames. Or you can even record two things at once. You can play them back when ever you want. It is such a great thing to have.
8. DVDs or CDs- DVDs or CDs are great for any man: young or old. You can add to their collection or begin a new one. With the electronics that are out there now, you can even burn your own DVD or CD instead of spending money on a store bought one.
9. Electronics- You can never go wrong with electronics. You can buy them anything from a MP3 player, to an X-Box to an electric guitar, to a DVD player. If they already have the X-Box, then you can get them a game.
10. Gift cards- If you are still puzzled on what to get the guy in your life, get them a gift card. That way you do not have to know their size, or what they like, or what they already have. Most malls will let you get a mall gift certificate for any store or restaurant inside of the mall. That way they can shop from all of the stores.
