There are many things required on a daily basis for our daily life style. Products for health care, personal care, groceries, foot wear, clothes, watches, mobile phones, jewelry and gifts.  If we follow a good plan while shopping, we will be saving lot of money. For achieving this, we must make a checklist for items that required and the items must be categorized as “priority” “important”, “less important”  and “can be postponed”

Priority things must be purchased for immediate use such as body wash, shampoo, deodorant, shoe polish, foot wear, detergent power or gel for laundry, clothes and any other item that is required for daily use.  Because, we cannot attend office without taking a shower for which body wash and shampoo are essential. Similarly a deodorant and perfume is necessary to look fresh and to work actively in the office.

Purchase of groceries is also priority because milk, cereal, eggs, bread, edible oil, butter cheese, jam,  tomato sauce and ready-to-eat foods are all essential for daily use. These can be purchased every fifteen days or on a monthly basis.

Important items are, when we have to gift some one on the occasion of birthday or wedding or house warming or a new baby arrival.  We have to be careful while buying gifts because, overspending on gifts is not necessary but gift suiting to the occasion is important.

Less important items are carrying out repairs to house, painting the house, buying new furniture or buying new television sets or refrigerators. These can be purchased when you receive a bonus or an incentive.

Issues that can be postponed are changing of beds, curtains, gourmets, home furnishings or interior designs.

The more thought and plan you give to shopping, your budget and saving, both are balanced.
