History of Halloween

Halloween origins from Celtic festival samhain that was kept on the day Celts believed that borders of this world and otherworld became thin and allowed spirits to pass through. The reason mask are weared is to disguise as one of the harmful spirits to keep themselves out of harm. On the time of Samhain they also collected food for winter.

Trick or Treat

Trick or Treating means that (usually) a child goes from house to house and says >>Trick or Treat>> to get candy they also use all kind of spooky costumes and suits usually something like skeletons sometimes something from a movie or a book maybe used as well. this makes lot of costume sales for Halloween they made about 4.95 Billion $ on 2006.

Here are some games traditionally played on Halloween:

Apple bobbing: Players must use their teeth to get apples from basin.

Another traditional game is to carve apples in one long stripe.

Unmarriedwoman has to go to dark room and look at mirror to see their futures husband.
