Ideas for Christmas Stocking Stuffers

Ideas for Christmas Stocking Stuffers

Sometimes it can be difficult when trying to figure out what to put in the Christmas stockings. Here are some ideas that will spruce things up a little.

The majority of Christmas Stockings contain mostly fruit and candy. Are you looking for new things to put in the Christmas Stockings this year? Here are just a few ideas for you to spruce up the Stockings for all of your loved ones.

Ideas for Younger Children

Games such as Playstation, XBOX, WII, or Computer Games. DVD’s, CD’s – (Nursery Rhymes), Hot Wheels Cars, Barbie Dolls, Yo-Yo’s, Paddle Balls, Miniature containers of Play-Doh, Trading cards, “Memory” Playing Cards, Money!

Ideas for Teens and Adults:

Gift Certificates, Cologne/perfume, A 5×8 (or smaller) size Book with a personalized bookmarker, A 4×6 photo album filled with pictures of the family and friends, CD’s, DVD’s, Playing cards, Money

While most people place the items directly into the stocking, there are some that wrap the items before placing them in the Stocking. For teens and adults, a good ‘prank’ idea, is to wrap it several times. These items can be added in addition to the fruit and candy.

Filling the stockings yourself can be much fun and it’s more sentimental than purchasing pre-filled stockings. However, pre-filled stockings may be more convenient for those who have little or no time to do it.

Also, don’t forget the pets. While there really isn’t much of a selection for pets, they do love being part of the Holiday fun!

I had seen those miniature things of play-doh, but never thought about putting them in the stocking. Few good ideas here. Thanks.

Good tips!

I find most of those prefilled stockings are a rip off. Most of the time they only have one item that anyone would be interested in and the rest is just junk filling.

I love the tips that you suggested.

I personally found a cute website that send Custom Santa Letters to children. I ordered one for my daughter. I just wish something like this was around when I was a child.
