Shopping on (And a Few Hours Before) Black Friday

Shopping on (And a Few Hours Before) Black Friday

The day after Thanksgiving is one of the most popular times for shopping in the year.

Your family just finished that great and long party at a friend’s house, having eaten 2 pounds of turkey and mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie, owned your friends at Super Smash Bros. Brawl, talked long with everyone, and are heading home to rest before leaving in the middle of the night to go shopping. But where?

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving, and the time of year when sales are at their highest due to the holiday seasonal shopping starting and just about every chain store and outlet like Walmart and Best Buy offering doorbuster discounts on everything: electronics, laptops, clothes, etc. People literally start lining up at 10:00 PM on Thanksgiving so they can be the first to buy the limited items with the best deals when stores open as early as midnight.

Stores

So depending on what you want to buy, there are many stores with those mega deals traditional since around 1924. They’re all huge business giants with lots to earn in their best day of the year.

These are just SOME of the most popular stores having sales; there are MUCH more.

Clothing

These stores have huge deals on clothing:

Banana Republic
Macy’s
JCPenney

RadioShack
Staples

Toys

Toys are also hot, for giving as gifts during Christmas.

Toys R Us
KB Toys
Target
Walmart

Household/Furniture

Home Depot
Ikea
Lowe’s
Office Depot

General

These stores have items that don’t belong in the above categories but are important enough to mention:

Rite Aid

The 2008 Manslaughter

Remember November 28, 2008? Jdimytai Damour, 34, was literally TRAMPLED to death at 5 A.M. by the 2000 greedy little BASTARDS that broke down the glass door and stampeded inside to buy $200 laptops and $10 shoes, completely aware but ignoring the fact that they had pushed down the man and everyone was stepping on him in their GREED to be the first to get the mega deals! Employees tried to restrain the crowd but it didn’t work. They just kept going because their greed makes them, in good conscience, let a man die instead of stopping their stampede and helping him up. They even defied police who came to the scene to investigate the murder and asked them to leave.

So there’s probably gonna be more security this year and employees are gonna be more careful. Make sure you stay safe too and DON’T KILL ANYONE BECAUSE YOU WANT THOSE $400 HDTVS FIRST! But other than that, enjoy shopping!
