The Dangers of Black Friday
The negative side of Black Friday.
Ah. So another Black Friday is upon us. This is what troubles me. How quickly we forget that on many occasions, when seductive sales lure us out,we have stomped out human life. Yes! People have died at our plight to purchase material goods. People, who are loved and have been loved, have had their lives trampled out by our primal need for a new television.Does anyone ever sit back and really ponder why this happens? What has happened to us as a society if this is where we have evolved to?It sickens me to think of all the folks out there participating in such a day. Shame on you.
How quickly we forget that families are starving as we push each other out of our way to insure we get 5% off of a DVR. Its disgusting. So,I sit here and ponder this human condition. I sit and wonder why we have become like this. I wonder where we’ll be when my children are grown. No true love for human life. We’re all expendable in some way or another.Be it in our jobs, our relationships,or when getting in the way of a large sale. When did we decide that life was no longer precious to us?
These are all questioned to be pondered in your mind. For today however, while you’re out there, please be careful. Be courteous and respectful to each other. Lets bring this Holiday season with a kindness for our fellow neighbor.

In Canada we have the same thing, only its the day after Christmas, and called Boxing Day.
Our day is also for boxing up unwanted or out grown things to give to the poor, although I think that seldom happens, its more a day to shop now.
