A Gas Grill Review: Weber Spirit E-210

A Gas Grill Review: Weber Spirit E-210

A personal review of the Weber Spirit E-210 gas grill.

This is a small to mid-sized gas grill with basic features and a clean, crisp look that is quite appealing. The relatively low price makes this grill a great value. The square tube frame is welded, not bent like you would see in lower-quality grills; it is a frame that is sturdy and sound. All of the stainless steel parts on this grill are 304 surgical grade, which is rust-proof. Cooking on this grill is quite an experience, as I have never experienced so few flare-ups, and there are no hot spots.

Features:

  • 2 stainless steel burners
  • Porcelain-enameled cooking grates
  • Warming rack and basket
  • 26,000 BTU-per-hour input
  • Enclosed cart with stainless steel doors and handles
  • Push-button ignition
  • Height: 59.5” – Width: 51.5” – Depth 28” (with lid open)

Pros:

  • Strong frame, well-built
  • Good warranty terms
  • 304 grade stainless steel
  • Easy to assemble

Cons:

  • Cooking surface seems thin
  • Casters on legs can be obtrusive

Cost: $299

Conclusion:

In 2008, I have yet to see a better gas grill value. The good quality and low price makes this grill a good buy. I have also had personal experience with Weber’s customer service and have been very pleased, which adds even more value to their product.
