How to Get a Really Good Deal on Anything You’re Looking for
This is a sure-fire way to help you find all kinds of goods at a price you can actually afford.
It may be a little bit too early to go Christmas shopping, but regardless of the time of the year, isn’t it absolutely nerve racking when you can’t find a reasonable price for something you want to buy? Plus, you may not have the time to go searching for the lowest price. I would imagine you would agree with me if I were to tell you that I don’t like to settle for a) an expensive price tag, or b) a less reliable product. So, I’ll tell you how I find what I’m looking for at a price I am willing to pay- all without any real effort on my part. Here’s the only catch: you will probably have to wait a little while, but I’ll explain why.
What I use to find what I need is actually a website. You can visit it for yourself here- http://dealalerter.com/. I first heard about it while watching the news. It’s free to register, and the only personal information you are required to provide is your email address. Basically, upon entering the website you first “go shopping” for what you want. Once you choose a product, you will be presented with a list of sellers and the prices they are offering for that particular product. If you are not satisfied with the set prices, you have the option of actually setting what is called a “price alert”. From there, you set a desirable, yet reasonable, price that you would like to pay. Once you do that, all you have to do is wait. Of course you always have the option to buy the product before (if ever) it drops to the price you would like to pay for it. But if you don’t, dealalerter will automatically send you an email to inform you when the prduct you set a price alert for reaches a certain price.
It worked for me. I was able to find a 30gb Zune MP3 player for just $140, a price $110 cheaper than the usual price. It took a few months to reach that price, but for me it was worth the wait. Granted, though, the wait time will always vary depending on the product. Dealalerter isn’t the seller, just the messanger. It’s free, it’s easy to use, and it’s efficient: I think it’s definitely worth a try. To be honest with you, you can’t go wrong with it. Good luck in finding what you want and happy hunting.
