I Am a Fan of Bruce Willis
What keeps me stick to my hairstyle.
I remember the time when I noticed my thinning hair on the mirror slowly exposing my scalp as most of men’s nightmares start haunting them. For some time, I resorted to costly hair growing solutions which seems like a bad alternative for a poor guy like me. Then I realized even rich people with the symptoms still maintain their “crowning glory” amidst the public considering they have the means to find some suitable treatment if available. So my conclusion is that there is no credible medical solution out there for hair loss except for some commercial tactic to keep bald men wanting for more miracle hair growers on the market. Then I started sticking on a skinhead cut for years and to me it seems the most manageable hairdo which I had been most at home with myself. It’s something nature’s way couldn’t make a fool out of me. Since I’m getting bald, I better get my hair shaved. Well, perhaps what I could always thank my mother for bringing me out into this world is that I grew up with a well proportioned round head to dare having my head shaved and scalp exposed.
Starting life here in the UK, my method of hair treatment coincidentally saved me from incurring spending on haircut at the barber shop since I learned to become my own barber. It all started when I bought an electric hair trimmer instead of paying a barber for £5 per session. That would oblige me to face myself on a mirror once a month and have my haircut. It would be enough to let my hair grow ¼ inch long before having it trimmed. Going to work I was even more amused to realize that by average, out of 10 people in the company, 1 has either a skinhead cut or a well-shaven head. It is for a few people that became my circle of friends for the last 3 months that I had been working that I always have someone greeting me each day that I had my usual haircut done and the conversation would go like this; “Are you alright, what made you shave your head always?” To cut the explanation and avoid speaking too much since I don’t speak English as fluent as I write, I just know what to answer and it is well and proven. . .” I am a fan of Bruce Willis”. End of story.

I shave my hubby’s head every few weeks because he looks better without hair. it just seems to suit some men better. I enjoyed this piece.

I am a Bruce Willis fan too but I dont think that I will shave my head.. Mother nature is slowly but sholy taking care of that.

a fun to read. We faced the same problem. for years, I worry about thinning hair, so I took on a bald-look but my wife hate it so I have my haircut done the what we call here “semi-kalbo”, that is skinhead, and gush my family and friends love it, So then up to now I always do skinhead but it cost me around 1$US every haircut.

Good for you! Most men in the UK have shaved heads, its a sight of virility! and I absolutely love Bruce and have for the past 22 years! ever since he was in moonlighting!

That’s Funny DB! LOL. For many years I kept my hair very long….a hippy so to say. Then one day I really had gotten tired of that look…..my hair was thinning and I was in denial. So I decided….buzz it all off! I did and have loved it ever since. Great sense of humor DB and will always watch a good Bruce Willis flik. Pulp fiction being my favorite of all his roles. We have to be able to laugh at ourselves at times….I do!
