When I  hear the word jeans, I think about a piece of clothing that you buy at the store. It was not until a week ago that I was introduce to the concept of custom made jeans. These jeans are made by tailors or by famous designers. The purpose of both professionals is to make jeans that fit well. My favorite phrase will be, to make jeans that make you look your best.

The problem is that not all of us can pay custom made jeans prices. For example, Earnest Sewn is a great designer in New York City. The starting price of a pair of jeans, designed and made by him,  is one hundred and ninety five dollars. All depends on what the customers wants. The fabric, the buttons and the style can add to the price. Maybe you would end up paying two or three hundred dollars, for your pair of custom made jeans.

I like jeans. Other people love jeans. We all know people, that wear jeans everyday. Many of us have our favorite pair of jeans. Jeans are comfortable, no question about that. In my opinion, jeans have always been in style. But I am not willing to pay three hundred dollars for a pair of custom made jeans and I have my reasons.

The first reason is, I have to work really hard in order to get paid three hundred dollars. I know many people that are in the same situation. In addition to that, I  have bills to pay. There are bills like the car bill and the health insurance bill, that need to be paid at the end of the month. The last thing I have to say is,  probably this custom made jeans and my regular jeans will last the same. I should not have to pay more, if I do not need to. Maybe if we all had rich parents, I will think differently. It’s all about the money, because for many of us now days , three hundred dollars is a lot of money.
