Well If you are in a part of the world where you already have the services to use debit card for everything what a credit card can do then spare me as I have just discovered this few things back in my Country.

Many banks are now keen to promote online shopping via debit card.

Even online services like paypal, alertpay etc. required ease of credit cards to link and confirm your account.

Something that is nowadays making a buzz is NETCARD.

Banks like Kotak Mahindra (India) have come up with the net card facility for the users.

If you hold savings account in the bank then you just have to open your Internet banking account first.

Next is to search for the Net-card option.

Fill the necessary details like CRN (Customer Relationship Number) your password for the Net-card etc.

Once you are done a Netcard or consider it as a e-Card is generated.

This card is just valid for one transaction and once the transaction is completed it expires.

Like Credit card details 13 digit Number and PIN too will be generated for your Net-card but it is only valid for a single transaction.

It is just like a logical Credit card that will allow you to perform secure transactions on Internet like Credit cards.
