I have liked the color contact lenses from the time I was a adolescent, even though my choices have altered a lot. In those days color contacts were more about acting.  My parents did not like the idea that I wanted to use color contact lenses. They looked great at the time and made the eyes look like a cat’s eyes, which looked like magic to me. It was so chic and it made people give me intrigued looks.  I had to save my own money to get the color contact lenses.

Most probably my parents comforted themselves by thinking that the color contact lens obsession will go with time. Although they must be disappointed that I still put on color contacts after so many years. Luckily my choice of color contact lenses has changed a little and I don’t wear bizarre colors anymore.

I prefer more subtle colors these days and most of my contact lenses are in natural eye shades. There is a pair in sky blue, in greenish tone, and another which make the eyes look like black. What I enjoy about them is that they are natural looking but passionate. They look more powerful than my natural eyes. People may not notice it immediately, but find something striking in my appearance. I enjoy getting attention after so many years, but I prefer a more understated, and puzzled attention and contact color lenses are useful here.

Having some pair of color contact lenses is good for change. It is remarkable to see how small changes catch people off guard totally. When my brother, wanted to keep away from people, he would just shave his beard. Most people were used to seeing him with beard and would just cross him on the street without recognizing him. It works in a similar way with the contact lenses also at times.  People may not notice me if I am wearing a bright green contact lenses and have a different kind of outfit than normal. This is a very good idea for going in disguise when I don’t feel like talking to people. It is a little strange that
