The title is a bit misleading since many readers will assume I am talking about the oil painting. I am not. The path to embedding your spirit into a painting begins by crafting the media used to contain the painting. For me it is constructing a painting board and for others it is constructing the frame and mounting canvas.

Fall colors we all remember from the previous fall, how beautiful they were, and if in the present: how beautiful they are. They are never the same, year after year, for things change, but our joy remains. It is as if God used a new canvas and new set of brushes as He paints the hill sides or mountain sides with colors of every hue. Perhaps there is a lesson in there for we who are in the fall of our lives.
