Art History: The Influence of Antoni Gaudi on Modernism

Modernism is the art history movement lasting from 1888 through 1911 in Catalonia Spain. It was fueled by native born Catalan, Antoni Gaudi, and the desire to reassert Catalan Culture to a competitive level with the rest of Europe. A second motivating factor of this artistic uprise is attributed to Catalan Nationalism.
