Art & Decoupage for Kids: Duff’s Writing Challenge #17

Seaweed is also known as kelp. Kelp relies upon the sea for its nourishment and it’s full of vitamins and minerals. Storms remove the kelp from its ocean home and bring it to the beach. My little sister and I gather kelp and make decorative art pieces out of them. Decoupage is a French word that means "to cut up". It is an attractive art that creates decorative objects by adding paper cut outs.
