Isabelo Delos Reyes: Folklorist, Journalist, Nationalist

Don Isabelo delos Reyes y Florentino, the father of Philippine folklore and Filipino labor movement, was born in Ciudad Fernandina, now City of Vigan, in Ilocos Sur on July 7, 1864. He was the eldest of the five children of Don Elías delos Reyes and Doña Leona Florentino.
