The purpose of this short article is to discuss marijuana in regards to ethics, and to compare both sides of the issue of legalizing marijuana. We have two factions fighting each other in the U.S. and around the globe. One of those factions are those who are “pro-marijuana” and in favor of legalizing and decriminalizing cannabis, while the other is those who are “anti- marijuana” and against even the use of marijuana. Some people have the misleading and ignorant conception that if marijuana becomes legalized and even decriminalized, civil society as we know it will become inefficient and quickly begin to decay. However, when you learn the truth about marijuana and its medical purposes, and the myths are exposed, people begin to change their minds.
