Automated Highway Systems

As Canada’s population is increasing at a fast pace, the traffic problems on Canada’s highways are also increasing along with it. Problems such as increasing travel times, increasing traffic accidents killing hundreds of Canadian lives per year, increasing air pollution causing the quality of life to decrease. These are just some of the problems that our country as a whole could potentially face in the longer term. The ideal solution is to improve our infrastructure by having automated highway systems.
